In 2016, i was working as UI/UX Designer in Ruangguru.com. Where one of their product is Ruangguru App :  one-stop learning solution app! Before the company is focused on creating an Online private tutor matchmaking : Find teachers to help make you great, wherever you are, whatever you want to learn. During the working period, the company just won a google accelerator launchpad and start implementating design sprint in developing their product.

I was particularly participated in  the creation of additional feature
which is online consultation  feature

Concept

Based on the user interview and research we found out that the student normaly only meet with their private tutor on a certain time, and sometimes they have a question that they want to ask when they are working on their homework, but the tutor is not present, or perhaps their tutor is not available to helping them immediately.

So, why don’t we create a service that can help the user with their question at anytime from anywhere?

We care about how student learn

The product is focused on the subject that need comprehensive understanding and explanation beyond the answer, but also the process. Such a subject including STEM and languange.

Early bird vs. Night Owl
We also taking consideration when the service can be accesed in reasonable time, as some student is prefer study in the dawn, and the other stay up late in the night

Auditory and Visual learning
We believe that every kid’s have their own preference in a learning, therefore the product we accomondatel preference with chat, this become very handy for languange/literature subject, as everything is based on word.

photo is included as some subject’s question might including complex graph, diagram, and image. This also make the user easier in explaining the question with just a snap,

As alternative, we provide audio call feature to help both party explain more about their problems in a more comfortable way. It also can be faster option than chat.
